Microneedling (CIT)

Advanced Skin Renewal for Smoother, Healthier-Looking Skin

A Classic Spa Facial is required for a proper skin analysis prior to scheduling a Microneedling treatment.

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is an advanced skin-renewal treatment that uses tiny, sterile needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin. This process stimulates the skin's natural healing response and supports collagen and elastin production.

Microneedling can help improve the appearance of:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Uneven skin texture

  • Enlarged or refined-looking pores

  • Acne scarring once active acne is controlled

  • Overall skin tone and smoothness

  • Loss of firmness and elasticity

Microneedling can also provide a direct pathway for appropriate topical active ingredients to penetrate more deeply into the epidermis.

Your Treatment

Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed and prepared before treatment. For your comfort, a topical anesthetic may be applied approximately 15 minutes prior to your service. Serum selection is based on your skincare goals.

Treatment depth and technique are customized based on your skin's condition, concerns, and treatment goals.

A series of treatments may be recommended to achieve optimal results. When a series is recommended, treatments are generally scheduled approximately 4–6 weeks apart, depending on your individual skin and recovery.

Who Should Not Receive Microneedling?

Microneedling may not be appropriate if you currently have or have recently experienced certain conditions or treatments.

Contraindications include:

  • Active skin infections

  • Open wounds or broken skin

  • Severe or active inflammatory acne in the treatment area

  • Active eczema or psoriasis flare-ups

  • A history of keloid scarring

  • Certain blood-clotting disorders

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Immunosuppressive therapies

  • Recent laser treatments or other cosmetic procedures

  • Significant or temporary skin trauma

  • A compromised skin barrier

Certain medications and medical conditions may also require additional evaluation before treatment.

Before Your Appointment

Your skin must be in an appropriate condition for treatment. Please disclose all relevant medical conditions, medications, skincare products, recent cosmetic treatments, and changes in your skin during your consultation.

Your safety and the health of your skin are our priority. Microneedling will only be performed when it is determined to be appropriate for your individual skin and circumstances.

Results & Expectations

Microneedling stimulates your skin's natural renewal process, so results develop gradually. You may experience temporary redness, warmth, sensitivity, or mild swelling following treatment.

Following your treatment, you will receive customized aftercare recommendations designed to support the skin's recovery and maximize your results.
